Pictorial Edition- Cyclone Larry, March 2006
Bringing you all the cyclone images from The Australian Insect Farm

The best it gets? Left: one of the days the rain did not fall. Larry's winds were the strongest we had ever experienced, even the heaviest of white-goods were found strewn out into the garden. The house roof that can be seen is that of the main house.

And the rain still comes down!

1st July 2006 In closing this pictorial edition; the rains have continued with vengeance. Now more than three months after Larry, here at the AIF we have recorded a total of 6 days without rain. Although Larry was only relatively brief (around 6 hours to come and go), it has been the months after that have taken their toll. Mostly what we wait for is the rains to stop so we and all of the local community can get on with rebuilding and hopefully restoring ourselves back to some normality.

Cheers
Sue Hasenpusch
